The e equip. secures a taut dividing strap between adjacent cowstalls. One strap end at least is passed around an anchoring component and is pressed against the taut portion between the components by a clamp. The clamp (10) has two or more grip members (12, 13) protruding beyond the strap (11) on each side, where they are coupled together, while their edges which extend across the strap are pressed against it. One or both members have a concave side towards the strap, and one (13) is shorter in the lengthwise direction of the latter, so that the edges of the other one (12) fit over it.
