The arrangement is intended for identifying the keys of a keyboard instrument, such as a piano, organ, harpsichord or the like. It comprises a flexible strip (11) which supported on the full-tone keys of the instrument in the area away from the player. The strip is provided with cut-outs (14) through which the semitone keys project whilst the remainder of the strip has separate portions (20) covering the full-tone keys near the player. These portions may carry markings (c,d,e etc.) to identify the keys.
