The holder for magnetic tape cassettes allows secured vertical stacking combined with ease of access. The main cassette holder (17) is bonded along one edge (16) to a profiled end section (6) that provides the retention facility for stacking the bottom edge has a moulded stud (8) that has a centre groove. The top edge (15) has a hole of such a site that the stud may be compressed and pass through. When one holder is located on top of another the stud, which is located in the corner, provides a hinge facility. In this way one cassette holder may be swung clear of the stack.
