Power rectifier control circuit using semiconductors - has regulator formed by transmission networks with resonance amplifier and filter for interference frequency
The control circuit is for a power rectifier installation with semiconductor controllers used to supply an inverter. The system is used in the drive circuit of an electric locomotive where it is desirable to eliminate specific interference frequencies. There is an additional control circuit with a regulator consisting of two transmission networks (2,3). The frequency response is such that the interfering frequency is amplified with a high gain. The gain is lower for frequencies below the interference frequency. The transmission network consists of a resonance amplifier (2) with an operational amplifier (2.1) acting as a selective filter. The second transmission network consists of a regulator (3) with an operational amplifier (3.2). The regulator has PD (proportional-differential) characteristics.
