The curtains are fitted by their runners in a suitable length of rail which is detachably fixed in alignment with the track (3) so that the runners can then pass over the track and the detachable rail. It is now easy to remove this rail section together with all the curtain runners when the curtains are to be cleaned. The length of the removable part should be adequate to take all the curtain runners without undue crowding. The system is designed for simplicity of assembly.
