Stacking installation for rod shaped piece goods - has vertically movable stacking carriages fitted with horizontally moving support arms, drive latches and counting mechanism

The rod or board shaped piece goods are transported with stacking carriages vertically movable on stands. The stacking carriages are fitted with horizontally movable support arms with driver latches and counting mechanism to form the required width of stack. The goods for stacking supplied into the installation are seized by a selector device, following which, the push beam (3) is moved under control into the required right or left sided position and the goods being stacked (1) are then pushed by the push beam (3) on to the stand's upper side (4) and beyond the drive latches (6). The storage area for the goods being stacked can be widened on the stand upper side by partial extending of the support arms (8) up to the required stack width.
