Sublimation-printing plastic surfaces - applied to fibres, metals, etc. from thermosetting lacquer contg. poly:isocyanate and (meth)acrylate! polymer

Plastic surfaces to be sublimation- printed consist of crosslinking thermosetting polymers, esp. polyisocyanate-crosslinking (meth)acrylate polymers. The polymers can be applied by emulsion-coating, dipping or spraying, on one or both sides of textile materials, metal sheets, wood or plastics. After complete or partial crosslinking by drying, dye transfer is effected by the standard thermo-sublimation process. Dye absorption and brilliance achieved on treated natural fibres is comparable to that achieved on polyesters. The prints obtd. are fast.
