Wrapping for sausage skin package - having tear strip set into wrap with tag to allow removal without damage to skin

Functional package of sausage skin consists of a hollow rod formed from a muffed skin, the muffing being lengthwise. Package is surrounded by sleeve type wrapper constructed so that this can be easily form off lengthwise. Wrapper has a narrow strip along its length which is partially perforated and to which a tag is attached. This allows the strip to be torn off and the wrapping removed. Package is esp. for use in sausage prodn. Wrapper can be successfully removed and the package mounted on the sausage machine without damage to the sausage skin.
