The table football game consists of a metal, plastics or wooden board with the playing surface covered with a billiard cloth. The playing surface is divided and marked according to the rules of football. Inside the outer line and inside the goal line there are 217 green and 218 yellow coloured squares making a total of 435 which are divided up and arranged in chess board format. Of the two teams, one is allowed to play on the green squares only, whilst the other must play only on the yellow squares. Each of the squares has 9 slightly inclined bores positioned to ensure that the ball always comes to rest in one of them, to avoid the ball being positioned in the middle between two coloured squares.
