The railway vehicle draw hook and buffing arrangement contains a spring and a fork shaped connecting piece. The connecting piece acts in conjunction with the spring and accommodating a coupling bolt, to connect a draw hook or automatic coupling head, are incorporated in a pull-and- jolt device, esp. on railway rolling stock. Here the closing plate (4) protruding into a hole to support the bolt, and the housing (1) and the socket-type draw flange (2) are arranged in conformity with a bayonet connection activated by turning the closing plate. The plate can have blind holes (7) to accommodate an inserted tool.
