The watch has hands driven by an electric motor which can be switched to operate at a higher rate for rapid resetting, by operation of a manual push-button (12). The gearing (10) between the motor and the hands is simultaneously switched between two operating positions by actuation of the push-button. Pref. the gearing has an input wheel (1) driven by the motor and driving the hours wheel (3) via an intermediate wheel (2). This is mounted on a rocker arm (5) actuated by depression of the push-button to cause the hours wheel (3) to be driven in the opposite sense via a second intermediate wheel (4) driven by the first.
