Ozoniser voltage supply - saves power by two ozoniser(s) in series shunted by reverse connected diode(s)

The voltage supply for ozonizer plant comes from the secondary winding of a single-phase transformer which is fed from a three-phase a.c. supply through a rectifier and inverter. At least two ozonizers are connected in series and each is shunted by a diode; the two diodes have opposite forward directions. Such a voltage supply requires only the supply of ohmic power because the reactive (wattless) power is exchanged between the ozonizers acting as capacitances, so that the power requirement is reduced.
