The device is arranged in the conveying system for the energy carrier medium of a heating system (e.g. central heating system). Fitted in the conveying pipe for the energy carrier medium is a rotor element (3), the revolutions of which are transmitted via a rigid step-down gear unit (13, 7) to an adding mechanism (9) by means of gears (12, 7). The adding mechanism (9) is accommodated in a separate housing part (1). Between the transmission elements for the measured values there is a positive connection (11, 12) which can be released and established automatically. The aim of the invention is to describe a device which operates precisely and without maintenance for a prolonged period. The influence of the ambient temperature and inaccuracies of adjustment are to be eliminated and direct measurement of the energy carrier made possible. The counter is appropriate for verification and the results are exactly reproducible. IMAGE
