Electronic metronome with visual or audible output signals - has frequency divider and selector switches controlling output of reference and voltage controlled oscillators
The electronic metronome for music teaching etc., has a reference oscillator and phase comparator, with a low pass filter and a voltage controlled oscillator. Interconnected with these devices by a frequency divider is a set of three digital preselector switches which can be operated to vary the output of the divider, the output being higher than the frequency of the reference oscillator. The output is passed to a fixed frequency divider (7) to obtain clock pulses. These are passed to a pulse former with an amplifier which can be connected by switches to signal emitters from which can be obtained optical or audible signals. The pulses are passed to another adjustable frequency divider with a preselector switch to obtain separate pulses to operate the pulse shaper. The visual indicator uses a light emitting diode.
