Vertical ducts for a medium extracting heat from the environment are incorporated in panel-shaped elements made of metal, with interconnected vertical edges, in cladding on an external wall face. Each duct (3) is seamlessly integrated into the element (1), which has a semicircular, pref. outward-facing, protrusion (4,5) on its vertically aligned strip edges. The radius of curvature of one protrusion exceeds that of the next by the walling thickness of the metal plate. Elements (1) may extend virtually from ground to eaves on the wall (2), at an interval. This provides optimal heat flow, and attractive overall cladding.
