Centralised control for building central heating system - uses electromagnetic thermostat valves to adjust heat output for each room

The control supplies weak current pulses to electromagnetic thermostat valves associated with the heat output devices positioned in respective rooms, to allow them to be opened or closed by a required amount. Pref. a central control panel has a push-button corresponding to each room for supplying the regulating pulses, combined with a light panel display and a programming clock. Each of the thermostat valves has a plastics and/or metal body (2.2) with a head which cannot be adjusted manually, to prevent the setting being tampered with, and with air inlet slots (2.3). The control allows the room temp of each individual room to be held at a precise selected level, with the periodic adjustment of the required temp being independent for the various rooms, in accordance with different hours of usage.
