The swashplate rocker bearing is for a hydraulic axial-piston machine, bearing segments being accommodated in a curved cage between a cylindrical face for the plate in the housing and a partly-cylindrical one on the plate. A lever on the cage pivots at one end at a fixed point on the housing, and at the other slides and pivots on the plate. The cage (8) is of resilient material where the lever (9) slides and pivots on it. There can be an opening (14) in the cage through which the lever passes, and whose edges are of spring material. The entire cage can be of spring plastics material, while the lever can be a spring bar.
