An attachment for a candle to achieve its consumption without the formation of any droplets consists of a thin tulip- shaped heat resistant glass tube with a bottom dia. to suit the outside dia. of the candle and a slightly smaller top dia. The top is rounded outward to form a space which extends a natural melting bowl of the candle and raises its rim. This prevents any 'icicles' from forming and ensures that the entire material is usefully converted to radiant energy. The attachment automatically slides down as the candle burns down, leaving only a small stump not safeguarded. The new device saves the waste of expensive wax material and protects the candlesticks from incrustation.
