The mechanism automatically feeds clips, which are pressed onto a set of parallel strings at equal distances to form a drive belt, where the clips engage with grooves on the circumference of the drive wheels. The mechanism consists of a pendulum swing with seatings for the feed wheel and for the clip cassette, connected with cassette rod fitted with a clip forming rail and closing device. The mechanism has a feed wheel consisting of a pair of specially shaped toothed discs. The mechanism also has a sickle-shaped clip chute enveloping a belt indexing disc, keeping the clips at correct positions.
