A method of continuously determining one or more components simultaneously in gases is implemented using a device which operates with high immunity to temp. and air pressure variations and which is simple to calibrate. The gas under test flows through a series of tubes between which its vol. is varied in a manner specific to each gas component. The pressure drop in the tubes is a function of the gas component examined in each section. The volumetric flow may be held constant before and after the point at which the gas vol. is changed. The differential pressure w.r.t. the atmosphere may be held constant at several points in the system. The gas is brought to a water vapour condensation point at a temp. lower than that of the tubes before reaching the tubes.
