The connector has a socket fixed to a frame and a plug fixed to a cable. The socket contains a row of pairs of spring contacts, each contact in a pair being located on one inside face of the socket. The spring contacts are connected to the conducting paths of wiring board by soldering and are contacted by the plug's contacts when the latter is inserted into the socket.
