The score indicating system for tennis matches has a base plate carrying a control disc to which is connected a set of operating levers. As the disc rotates the levers are swung so that respective sliders, attached to them by pivot hinges, travel along guide slots, so as to operate score indicators. A pulse operated motor drives a worm wheel by means of a gear train. The work wheel rotates the control disc, and is swung into contact with its teeth by a magnetically operated swinging arm. The indicating system may incorporate a system of indicator lamps of a suitable brightness to be visible in sunlight.
