The profiled component cutter mechanism is particularly for the strips securing glass panes in windows or doors, having a holder for the component and an adjustable saw cutting at the desired angle. It also has a drilling or milling attachment (20) opposite the saw (14,15) at the cutting position, so that the saw and the attachment (20-22) work against the component (13) from opposite sides. There can be a drill bit (22) adjustable in the lengthwise direction and with its axis in the plane of the saw cut or parallel to it. The cutting circle of the bit intersects the plane of the saw cut.
