Panel wiring trolley with pivoted clamp frame - is for large switchgear or distribution panels and allows rapid position adjustment in orthogonal planes

The clamp frame for holding the panel is formed from a series of metal profiles and is rotatable through 360 degrees about a central axis relative to a pivot frame. The latter can pivot through a given angle relative to the wheeled support framework, both frames selectively clamped in a required angular position. The wheeled support framework includes a height adjustment for setting the pivot frame at the required working level. Pref. both frames are rectangular and have the same size, the clamp frame being fixed to the pivot frame via a central bearing pin allowing the 360 degree rotation. This has a screw head at one end and fits through a nut welded to the underneath of the pivot frame at the other end, onto which a second washer is screwed, to allow the frames to be held in a required angularly offset position. The trolley is used for wiring large scale panels for switchgear or distribution appts.
