Resilient screw-in studs for football boots - has screw heads with hooked arms ensuring firm fastening in stud body

The studs which are made of rubber or a similar resiliently deformable material are fixed to the outer sole of the football boot or similar by fastening screws wherein the screw head (5) which is firmly embedded in the stud is formed by several radially flanged arms (6,7) which are bent axially in hooked fashion at their ends. These hooked ends ensure that the positive connection between the screw head and studs is effectively maintained despite the various stresses which may occur. To increase the engagement between the arms and the studs the arms and the hooked ends are pref. disposed in different planes.
