The pallet intended for storage and transport comprises a load deck and latticed vertical ends which can be secured to the deck and each have a lower and an upper horizontal member connected by vertical members. The lower member does not exceed over the full width but is interrupted, its two inner ends being connected to two upwardly converging portions of vertical members. A bracket surrounding these portions can be pressed down so that retaining elements fixed at the lower ends of the members are moved together to grip the corners or feet of the deck to secure the ends thereon.
