The cold store or refrigerated display has the frame (22) for the access door made of a heat-conductive metal, with the internal light attached to it via a resistor (38). The latter is in heat-conductive contact with the frame, so as to transfer heat to it when the light is switched on, the heat preventing formation of condensation between the frame and the door (28). Additional heating wires (42) may be used to heat the frame when the resistor is not in use, to prevent formation of ice. Either the resistor, or the heating wires are energised via a double rocker switch.
