The filter consists of a dielectric body (11) with two electrodes (12,13) on each side to form a capacitor. A wire (14) is connected to the electrode (12) and can be connected to ground in an external circuit (the noise is filtered away to ground). Two additional wires (15,16) are connected to the second electrode and form two external connection points. A magnetic element (17) is fixed to one of the two additional wires in order to increase the inductance associated with this wire and to form an LC filtering circuit. The dielectric body may be a disc. The magnetic element may be a tube fitting over the wire. Each wire may have a magnetic tube or all three tubes may be united into a disc with three holes for the wires. The magnetic element (or elements) are enclosed in the encapsulation that encloses the capacitor.
