Heat exchanger has one or more tubes through which a heat transfer medium flows. Each tube has an extended surface in the form of fins or crimped sheet forming a zigzag pattern along the axis of the tube. The tubes thus formed are made into a spiral coil around a central axis which is parallel to the fold axis of the finning. A partition baffle is mounted between the adjoining coil surfaces.
