Multiple drive group for high-speed loads - has long working life and drive shafts provided by rotors of DC motor

The drive group has each drive shaft (100...103) acting as the rotor of a respective collector-less DC motor. One of the rotors (100) has a position detector controlling a commutating circuit, providing the drive supply for each of the motors, which are coupled to it in parallel. The drive shafts (100,103) are coupled together via a lightweight coupling belt (104) passing around a wheel mounted on each shaft (100...103) to ensure synchronism of the latter. All the rotors cooperate with a common stator (10) mounted on a bearing plate (110) for the rotors.
