PURPOSE:To automate processing operation by cutting a negative film differing in image plane size from preceding and following negative film under electric control by an optical detector which detects the image plane side and connection parts of a negative film. CONSTITUTION:Long-sized negative film 1 is fed into the titled device from lead-in part 2 of this device and automatically separated and sorted by image plane types of negative films, and negative films equal in image plane size are connected again and taken up around rolls 3 and 3'.
