The frame comprises vertical columns and horizontal beams and is for use in the construction of indoor swimming pools. On the outside faces of the frame are grooves extending outwards and into which are inserted screws for assembling the fixing and facing panels, with a layer of insulating material placed between the frame and panels. The insulating layers are held firmly in place by means of flanges on the fixing panels. The screws can be easily and quickly inserted because the flanges enable holes drilled in the facing panels and in the insulating materials to be accurately aligned. It is possible for the insulating material to be placed on the fixing panels prior to assembly so that they can be handled as one unit.
