Removable refrigerator insulating panel - has shaped grooves along edges to receive pivoting male connector and fixed female connector

The removable insulating panels each have along their edges identical female portions which are not removable. A detachable male portion pivots in one of the female portions, swinging part of the way into the other one so as to lock the two panels together. The female portions can be box-shaped, held in place by insulating foam formed in situ. The female portions each have a flat hollow body open to the outside, and formed with two parallel side walls with ribs on the outside. A rectangular opening is formed with, two transverse protrusions acting as attachments and guide stops for the male portion. In the side walls are two holes for receiving a driving and pivot spindle for the male portion, which is of half-moon shape. A polygonal bore in this portion receives a bar forming the spindle near its straight edge, while along the curved edge is a ramp protruding laterally.
