The fence post driver is designed for mounting on a tractor, using the three point linkage, and is driven by the tractor power take-off. It comprises a base fitted with stabiliser legs and an arm projecting forwards at an angle. This arms carries a pivoted frame, adjustable vertically for angle, side channels being used as guides for the sliding tup and its mass. This tup is fitted with a rack meshing with a belt driven gear. The mass operates at the side, for stability, and is raised and released by a lever for tightening and relaxing the belt grip around a driving pulley.
