Tuner for receivers with movable slide - has carriage mounted on threaded shaft carrying cores for coil tuning under tension between shaft and guide rails

The rotation of a tuning shaft is converted for coil variometers tuning into a rectilinear motion. The movable carriage is mounted on a threaded part of the tuning shaft and carries the tuning cores for the coils. The carriage (7) made by injection moulding of an elastic plastic, is provided on two opposite sides with projections (14, 15) sliding on parallel guiding rails. The carriage is so designed that a mechanical tension is generated between the threaded shaft (6) and the guiding rails thus preventing twisting and moving on edge.
