Dishwasher with reduced rinsing water consumption - has emptying pump operating during wash cycle to remove initial dirt deposits

The program cycle for the dishwasher machine comprises pre-wash, wash, intermediate rinse, clear rinse and dry cycles wherein the emptying pump is temporarily switched on at least once during the wash phase which helps to reduce water consumption. After a certain operating time or once a temp. of 55 or 65 deg.C has been reached a large proportion of the dirt has been released from the dishes and collected in the sieve where it can reduce the water spray pressure or be pulverised down and redeposited on the dishes. By temporarily switching on the emptying pump this deposit canbe removed so that subsequent rinsing requires fewer changes of water.
