The sweep voltage formation circuit includes a synchronising unit (1) whose input is connected to a sync. signal source (2). The units output is connected to inputs (3, 4) of a sync. pulse frequency divider (5) and an electronic switch (6). The inputs (7, 8) of the frequency divider and which are connected to inputs (9, 10) of a display unit (11) and to a switch (12) of a sweep speed multiplier. The frequency divider outputs are also connected to a unit which determines the sweep speed (14). The output of the frequency divider is connected to the input (15) of the switch whose output is connected to inputs (16, 17) of a sawtooth voltage generator (18). An input (19) of the generator is connected to the output (20) of the sweep speed unit. An input (24) of the amplifier (23) is connected to the switch (12) of the sweep speed multiplier. The amplifier's output is connected to the horizontal deviation plates (25) of the cathode tube (26).
