Moulds for producing hollow mouldings of e.g. chocolate by centrifugal casting are fitted with loose liners which are removed with the individual mouldings. The liners act as a parting agent which keeps the mould surfaces clean, and may become part of the wrappings for the mouldings. Pref. the liners are made of food-grade crystalline PVC film and have radial flanges which butt together in the interface of the joint between the split mould halves.
