Bass reflex loudspeaker cabinet - has area of openings as function of cabinet volume and resonant frequency for ventilation of power circuits

The loudspeaker cabinet contains a power amplifier circuit whose power elements ae mounted on a heatsink located 0.5 to 20 cm below an opening in the cabinet top with a second opening in the front wall. The total area f the openings is determined by the cabinet volume, the loudspeaker resonant frequency, the air path between the openings and the heat generated in the power elements. The effective volume of the cabinet may be altered by adding an internal ube to the opening. The openings can be designed to provide a bass reflex type cabinet and efficient heat dissipation for the power amplifier.
