Convertible gas or oil central heating boiler - has prefabricated modular water jacket around firing chamber and hot water tank

The central heating boiler is convertible for gas or oil and comprises a horizontal cylindrical firing chamber (2). This has a front flue outlet, the gases passing rearwards through separate flues (7). Above these, if required, is a horizontal cylindrical hot water tank (18). All items are enclosed within a prefabricated water jacket, made from modular parts. Stays (11) fix the two flue sides (8') to the firing chamber water jacket (5). Similar stays fix the upper flanges (12) of the flue sides to the hot water tank water jacket (5'). The complete boiler is enclosed between end plates (4).
