A depth gague consists of a rod with a graduated scale which allows depths of holes to be determined. The handle contains calibrated holes to allow diameters of pins and drills to be determined to supplement its use. A bar with a square section has a measuring scale on one lateral face. This scale commences from the end to form graduations of the depth of a hole. The other end of the bar is formed from a circular plate which serves as a handle. It contains transverse holes of various diameters. These are centred on the plate and are arranged in a circle to allow tracings to be made. A rib along the centre of the face opposite the scale on the bar extends to form a peripheral rim on the handle.
