The air conditioned house has a solar heat collector for its heating. On the south face it has a conservatory with vertical glass walls and a floor absorbing light and heat from the sun. The roof slopes so as to face the sun and support the collector. Air circulation equipment draws air in from the conservatory for heating the living quarters. The conservatory can protrude from the house, having two or more glass walls in different vertical planes.
