Food or drinks are maintained at the required temp. by placing the glasses or cups around a central support. The glasses or cups are heated by conduction effects or by a spirit lamp or electrical elements. For cooling, ice may be used. A tray is constructed with a bucket shape in the centre and may be of metal or ceramic material. The bucket contains a wine bottle (9) which is required to attain or exceed room temp. The glasses (11) are arranged in retaining holes in the tray and around the central bucket. Heat is conducted to the glasses by the tray and if heat is required this is supplied by a spirit lamp (10) or by electrical resistance elements attached to the tray.
