Support for removable hollow bollard - grips base of bollard between resilient tongues and turned perimeter flange of base plate mounted on spike

The support for a removable hollow bollard (2) e.g. a route indicator includes a base (4) with turned up edges (10,11,12) mounted on top of a stake (3) suitable for driving into the ground. Resilient tongues are attached, pref. rivetted as a single piece (5) to the base and are biased towards the turned up flanges. The lower end of the bollard is gripped between the flanges and the tongues, the tongues bearing on the inner walls of the bollard. The stake pref. consists of two connected triangular blades (6,7) out of which barbs (8) have been punched.
