THE AQUEOUS SOLUTION IS CONTACTED WITH AN EXTRACTION SOLVENT FOR URANIUM, IN PARTICULAR A SOLVENT CONSISTING OF DI (2-ETHYLHEXYL) PHOSPHORIC ACID AND TRIPHENYLPHOSPHINE OXIDE IN AN ORGANIC SOLVENT THAT IS NOT MISCIBLE WITH THE WATER. THE URANIUM IS COLLECTED FROM THE EXTRACTION SOLVENT. / P
