Flexible railway track rail to sleeper fixing - gives constant support as rail moves under load using metal saddle and elastic foot plate

The metal saddle (1) is fixed to the sleeper support (2) and then a thin elastic foot plate (10) is laid before the rail (4) is placed on top. Two identical guides (8) are solid to the saddle and separated by a distance equal to the rail flange thickness. Curved flexible leafs (18,19) have a hole at one end for bolting to the guides, with an upper and lower branch separated by a loop, and when the screw nuts (16,17) are tightened the bottom leaf presses against the rail flange aided by rib (24). The pressure is maintained when the rail moves down.
