Closed loop electrical generating system - has high power generator driven by low-power motor using batteries for start-up phase

The electrical generating system consists of a generator producing e.g. 20,000 watts at 24 volts. This has a transmission system at the end of which is mounted a flywheel which augments the rotation of the generator. The generator is driven by a 5000 watt motor which is fed at 24 volts and runs at 1200 r.p.m. The motor is set in motion by a pair of batteries until the speed is reached at which the generator produces 20,000 watts. This alternating current is subsequently transformed into a 24 volt D.C. voltage which is fed to a voltage regulator. The output of the voltage regulator is switched to the motor when the generator's output exceeds to motor's power requirement and the batteries are switched out of circuit. The impetus of the generator is maintained during the switch-over by the flywheel.
