The printer consists of a curved panel (1), having the side edges lower than the centre. The panel is made from wood or plastics. The side strips leave a gap next to the panel. The slides (4) can ride along the side strips. The strips carry five wires (2) and a cross slide (3) with sleeves underneath, and having the wires threaded through the sleeves. The cards are held in position by the wires. The set may be microphotographed and the types on the cards may be re-used indefinitely.
