Supercharged diesel engine with high efficiency turbocharger - has modified valve timing and valve seat design

The supercharged diesel engine has a turbo supercharger (4) consisting of a turbine with the wheel (5) inserted in the engine exhaust manifold. The turbine drives an air compressor which is located in the air intake passage. The turbo compressor set offers minimum resistance to the air and exhaust gas flow and the valve timing is changed to delay the opening of the valves and advance their closing. The inlet valve seat is changed to have a different angle from the valve head.
