Factory prodn. line for mfg. pharmaceutical prods. partic. homeopathic medicines from fresh plants, in sequence (a) A botanical box where plants are inspected and identified on arrival (b) A set of trollies, each carrying a tank in which plants are spread out to avoid fermenting; (c) work tables for perliminary cleaning, sorting, trimming etc. of leaves, flowers and roots; (d) a washing tank; (e) a chopping machine. Line further comprises (f) a first weighing machine which issues a wt. ticket for a tank of plants; (g) roller conveyor to carry tanks to a second weighing machine issuing a second wt. ticket, (h) dosing station to add water and alcohol to a tank of plants while on the second weighing machine; (i) a programmed, electronic prockets controllers which controls the doses of water and alcohol; (j) an area for storage of tanks for maceration. Each tank has a specification label and two wt. tickets attached; (k) Press(es) for the extn. of juice from macerated plants; and (l) final weighting inspection and storage of containers of the juice. Used for mfr. of pharmaceutical prods, esp. homeopathic medicines, from fresh plants. The line facilitates strict quality control. Operator errors are largely eliminated. High output without loss of consistent standards of prod.
